Hair loss is getting more common by the day and so are the ways in which one can beat or conceal it. Though hair transplants and surgical methods are more advanced and permanent, they are also expensive and not affordable by many. But there are many economical methods which though temporary, can help you conceal that receding hairline or hide that bald patch. This is a non-surgical, non-invasive system of hair replacement. It involves a mesh base into which human hair is knotted into with fine knotting skills so that they are not visible and disappear into the mesh. The mesh and hair chosen are of the same colour as that of the clients’ original hair. This mesh is then stuck with liquid glue or clips onto the head so that it appears as if hair is growing from the scalp. There is skill involved in this type of procedure. The piece has to be cut well and the receding hairline has to be taken into consideration for a perfectly natural result. Hair volumising shampoos

A lot of volumising shampoos contain keratin, a type of hair protein that penetrates into the shaft so it is thicker and hair appears fuller. Microfibres

These hair microfibers are made of keratin and they come in a powdery form in different colours so they can be matched to your own hair. You simply shake or spray the microfibers on the scalp where there is thinning. The fibres attach themselves to existing hair and thus the hair appears fuller. These fibres are electrostatically charged so they bond magnetically to the hair. They stay intact even through rain, wind and sweat, so it is a good option for people with smaller areas of thinning or baldness. They will last until the next shampoo. Hair polish

Similar to shoe polish, this is applied to the thinning areas of the scalp so it gives the illusion of a fuller scalp. It helps coat the outside of each follicle almost like mascara, causing an increase in thickness by 50%. But this product can rub off onto clothes and can run when it’s raining. Scalp micropigmentation

Another non-invasive solution to thinning hair and baldness, this process involves creating several micro-tattooed dots over the scalp to make it appear like a stubble. The process is tedious and may be done in two sittings to cover the entire scalp. The results are dramatic and offer a great solution to people who have no hair for hair transplantation or cannot afford hair transplantation. It can also be used to cover up a previous hair transplant scar. Any tattoo will fade slightly with time and this can be touched up in due course of time. But remember that it is important to go to the right person because otherwise it can look harsh and fake.
